It is hard not to like Jing Ting, the newest casual dining restaurant inside City of Dreams. The restaurant features popular Northern Chinese dishes that are so familiar and compatible to the Filipino palate. Flavors are strong and robust, the serving is generous, food is freshly prepared and the prices are reasonable.
Full Flavor : The Northern cuisine is commonly described as rich, bold and savory. The meats are deeply seasoned bursting with belly-busting flavors.
Generous Serving : The food is served family-style. I prefer this kind of serving as it allows everyone to get a taste of the dish without being burdened of finishing the entire plate!
Freshly made : The big open kitchen is a delight for guests (I love that the place is very clean!). It also allows the guests to see how their noodles are being made, just right after they order it!
Reasonable prices : A big bowl of rich and satisfying noodles are priced from P298 up (Poached hand-pulled noodles with pork and mushrooms). Eight (8) pieces dumplings cost from P320 to P378 ( mushroom, vegetable and pork “Jiao Zi” dumplings). A hungry stomach will definitely leave this place full and satisfied.
Jing Ting has Chef Allan or Chef Yang Chen Fei, Chef de Cuisine, looking after the quality of the dishes. He specializes both in traditional and modern Northern Chinese cuisine. He is known to prepare a bowl of hand-pulled noodles in just 2 minutes and can prepare 600 dumplings in 1 hour. Impressive!
By the way, Jing Ting means little house or a resting place. The restaurant is open daily from 10am to 4am and situated at the upper ground level at retail area.
